Pennsylvania Man Arrested After Mocking and Sucker-Punching Man with Cerebral Palsy

Pennsylvania

A Pennsylvania man is facing assault charges after he put hands on a person with cerebral palsy. The incident, which took place on May 10, was caught on a security camera, which showed 29-year-old Barry Baker mocking the man, just before sucker-punching him as he exited a 7-Eleven in West Chester.

As the man got out of his car, he was approached by Baker. The two appeared to exchange words, just before the man went into the store, where Baker followed and began to mock him. As the man exited the store, Baker continued to bully the man, just before landing a right hook on the man’s jaw.

A woman from inside the store approached Baker after the assault, which prompted him to flee the scene. However, he was later arrested and charged with simple assault.

“This defendant is a bully. Ever decent citizen should be outraged by the defendants conduct,” the District Attorney of Chester County said of the incident. “The victim is to be commended for keeping his cool and notifying the police.”

Baker is due back in court on May 30th.
