Prodigy Of Mobb Deep Suing Universal Records

Prodigy of rap duo Mobb Deep is not happy with Universal Records. Although the rapper is signed to the label as a group member, he states the label has been taking 50% of the royalties from his solo projects. A deal that was made back in 1995.

TMZ reports that the rapper has filed a lawsuit against label to recover $57,498, which he believes was taken from him wrongfully, in addition to attorney’s fees.

Universal has yet to comment.
