TEkashi Released

Prosecutors Say New Confidential Informant Made Recordings That Could Send Tekashi69 To Prison For Life, 6ix9ine’s Lawyers Remain Optimistic

Last week, Tekashi69 was transferred to a new detention center from the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn after the rapper asked to be in a unit away from the Crips and the Bloods. Although the new facility is usually used to house witnesses who cooperate, the rapper’s team made it clear that the transfer was for safety concerns only, not snitching.

However, according to TMZ, someone in 6ix9ine’s crew is snitching, and the idea itself is making the rapper’s team uneasy.

According to the publication, prosecutors revealed they are working with a confidential informant who’s made recordings that could send Tekashi to prison for life. In fact, his attorney, Lance Lazarro, admitted the new development is concerning.

“Anytime there is a confidential informant, there is cause for concern,” he told the publication, as he maintained optimism. “I am confident that any recorded conversations with [Tekashi] will prove that he was never a part of the Enterprise and support the conclusion that he’s innocent.”
