Lifetime Reacts To Andrea Kelly

R. Kelly’s Ex-Wife Says She’s Okay with Kelly Reaching Out To Their Kids, Despite Allegations

Despite the disgusting allegations surrounding R. Kelly and his alleged history of abuse and pedophilia, his ex-wife, Andrea Lee Kelly, who also claimed to be a victim of Kelly’s disturbing acts, says she is not opposed to her ex rekindling a relationship with their three children.

Although Andrea says she has not heard from Kelly in months, a rep for the dancer says she’s not against it, especially since most of them are adults.

According to TMZ, sources say Andrea’s children, Jay, Joann, and Robert Jr are well aware and understand the allegations brought against their father in the documentary, so it would ultimately be up to them to decide on a relationship with their father.

In regards to her own relationship with Kelly, Andrea called him a monster and claimed to be a victim of his abuse. However, after footage surfaced of Andrea jamming to Kelly’s song, “Happy People,” many called her bluff.

But a rep for the actress said the clip was actually “several years old,” and should be “viewed as a statement of her strength and not having been defeated” rather an “extension of support” for the singer.
