Rapper 2 Chainz Arrested In LAX

2 Chainz was going to get his weed or die trying!  First 2 Chainz almost loses his life in San Francisco when he got robbed at gunpoint outside of a marijuana dispensary and now the “FEDS Watching” rapper was arrested in LAX while trying to board a plane home.

2 Chainz was in L.A. shooting a video for “Feds Watching,” the first single off his upcoming album, due September 10. While attempting to board a plane, 2 Chainz was popped and has since been booked for possession of marijuana. Ironic because just a day earlier he was tweeting about how awesome the weed in San Diego is. As if things couldn’t get any worse, what was initially reported as a misdemeanor possession of marijuana charge has now been upgraded to a felony possession of a narcotic charge. How did this happen? Law enforcement claims that the “Codeine Cowboy was not only in possession of marijuana (less than an ounce) but was also in possession of Promethazine, the key ingredient in “sizzurp” or “lean”. Although Promethazine is merely a cough medicine, without a prescription it is considered a drug and drugs are illegal.

This isn’t 2 Chainz first weed arrest this year. Remember February?
