The cruise line recently announced the reveal of “Perfect Day at CocoCay,” a $250 million private island in the Bahamas. Opening just in time for summer travel, there’s only one part of the island set to open in December, which features overhead cabanas with their own slide into the ocean. Guests can expect to enjoy a host of amenities, including the Caribbean’s largest wave pool, a 1,600 ft long zip line, a freshwater pool with a swim-up bar, a 2,600 ft beachfront infinity pool, private cabanas, beach club and “Daredevils Peak,” the tallest water slide in North America. You can also enjoy a ride in a helium air balloon floating nearly five hundred feet above the island.
Royal Caribbean plans to unveil a collection of “Perfect Day” islands in the Caribbean, Australia, and Asia. In a press release, Michael Bayley, President, and CEO of Royal Caribbean International said, “We are so proud to bring our 50-year legacy of innovation ashore to transform an incredible island that now completely revolutionizes private destinations in the vacation industry,“. “With Perfect Day at CocoCay… our guests truly are in for an experience like no other”.

I was on a Royal Caribbean Cruise just last week. I was there on Coco Cay island. It was amazing!! I had such a great time there! Plenty of chairs, umbrellas, hammocks in between the palm trees. The Oasis Lagoon was great! Thevwater there is crystal clear!?
