Russell Simmons Says He Still Supports The #MeToo Movement Despite Allegations, Calls For “All Men To Support The Rise of the Divine Feminine”

Despite the multi-million dollar rape lawsuit and countless allegations of sexual misconduct, Simmons is still a devout supporter of the #MeToo movement, which is a movement against sexual harassment and sexual assault.

On Monday, Simmons took to Instagram to double down on his support of the movement, and encouraged all men to join in to support “the rise of the Divine Feminine” within the culture.

“I still whole heartedly support #metoo despite my experiences,” Simmons wrote. “It is already tremendously successful and I believe it’s time for all men to support the rise of the Divine Feminine especially in cultural and governmental affairs.”

“We need more nurturing and thoughtful leadership in these powerful positions…,” Simmons continued. “Hollywood is where social justice and other issues travel So it makes sense that they should lead it and i applaud the women doing the work.”

As Simmons continued, he also opened up about his past, and acknowledged the fact that he’s been part of the problem.

“As for me I have been a playboy all my life i accept that the new more accurate term for playboy is womanizer,” he wrote. “Therefore i accept that i have been part of the problem and I’m here now to be part of the solution Hollywood is a great place to brand an idea and it has been tremendously helpful in pointing out where we as a society need lots of work.”

“However Hollywood is also the place where money and fame are sought after the most …,” Simmons added. “In every great revolution there is some collateral damage I am sad for the many men who are being extorted or unjustly accused (and there are many) but It is worth it if my daughters will live in a world where the agenda for women is advanced I am fearful left that without a shift to balance this current wave of unconscious masculine leadership, we as a species could be fucked… The future must be more brown, (inclusive) ..more conscious ,and more feminine ❤️”
