Tennis superstar Serena Williams has given birth to a baby girl.

Chris Shepherd of WPBF-25 news announced the the news via Twitter, citing a source at the hospital.

“Tennis star Serena Williams gives birth to a baby girl weighing 6 pounds, 13 ounces. Mom and baby doing well,” he wrote.

Williams was induced Thursday night and welcomed her first child on Friday at St. Mary’s Medical Center in West Palm Beach with fiancé Alexis Ohanian.
