British-Nigerian rapper, Skepta has been enjoying the culture of his country with Naomi Campbell in Nigeria this week. In fact, the two also celebrated a new honor bestowed upon the rapper: Nigerian chieftain.
In his hometown of Ijebu Ode, Ogun state, the rapper, joined by his rumored girlfriend, was dubbed the honorary chieftaincy title Amuludun of Odo-Aje. Skepta, whose real name is Joseph Adenuga, showed off both his Yoruba and Igbo ethnicity on social media with a post of the ceremony.
To show his gratitude he quotes, “Thank you to the Baale, Chiefs of Odo Aje and King for presenting me with my Chieftaincy. I am honoured and will continue to put time and love into Nigeria, especially the community of Odo Aje.”
