Being romantically involved with a Baller definitely comes with various perks and privileges, such as dinner at five-star restaurants, expensive “gifts of appreciation, “admission to exclusive events, luxurious vacations…oh, and did I mention being flown out? Being flown out by your Baller is truly something special, despite the simplicity. Why? Well, his endeavor is confirmation that he’s not only interested in you, but he also enjoys spending time with you! Look at it like this, if he merely wanted the company of a woman, he could’ve easily pursued a local (without your knowledge), which I can also guarantee is a lot cheaper, but he chose not to. Instead, he chose to bring you and all you have to offer to him…literally. Regardless of his true intentions, the fact that he desires your presence to the extent that he’s willing to “pay to see you” is beyond flattering for most and certainly a boost to the female ego.
If you’ve never been flown out before, let alone been offered, it’s rather difficult to understand the seriousness of the situation. I mean, it’s not like you can just accept your Baller’s offer, throw some clothes in a bag and go. It’s not that easy. There are other things to take into consideration before saying, “yes” or boarding…the seriousness of the relationship, his expectations, your expectations, etc. If traveling to him appears to be appropriate for the relationship that exists between the two of you then go, but remember there are some things to keep in mind…
Be discrete: Just because you’re being flown out by a Baller doesn’t mean you have to announce it to the whole world! Don’t put anything on social media that will spark unnecessary attention or speculation. Advertising your whereabouts and endeavors (especially when an exclusive relationship hasn’t been established) makes you appear more as a groupie than a companion. Besides, most men prefer women who move in silence anyways.
Tell someone TRUSTWORTHY of your whereabouts: Although you need to be discrete, you also need to be smart. Make sure that someone who you TRULY trust is aware of your location just in case of an emergency.
Make sure you have a return flight booked: Things could go really well or they could go really bad. Either way, make sure you have a return flight BOOKED, so that you can make it back home.
FU Fund: If your trip isn’t turning out quite the way you imagined, a FU fund will come in handy if you want to part ways with your Baller, but still remain in the city for the allocated time period, or if you want to bounce altogether…but you have to have your own money for that. You can’t use his! You have to be financially prepared for anything because if he throws the wrench before your stay is up, you BETTER have the funds to function without him!
Know the details: Just like you would have the details of a vacation that you planned yourself, you need to have the details of the “getaway” your Baller has planned for you…hotel arrangements/accommodations, car/driver information, etc. Discuss everything in ADVANCE. Know what you’re getting yourself into. Don’t settle for staying at his crib, especially if this is the first time visiting. He should treat this as a vacation and plan accordingly. Make sure you also suggest things YOU’RE interested in doing while there. You should have a say so in how y’all spend your time together.
Pack/dress accordingly: Need I say more?
Show your appreciation: Your Baller just flew you into town so that y’all can spend quality time together even though there are over 3 billion other women in the world. Show him how much you appreciate his generosity. To each his own.
