Social Media Influencer Found Dead After Boyfriend Posts Her Dead Body On Instagram

A New York man allegedly slit the throat of a teenage social media influencer who he was allegedly dating, and then posted a photo of her dead body with the caption, “sorry.”

According to police reports, 21-year-old Brandon Andrew Clark of Cicero posted a horrifying picture of 17-year-old Bianca Devins on Instagram this past Sunday. The couple had just attended a concert in Queens before Clark called the police. Police found Clark lying next to his black SUV in Utica. He allegedly took a knife to himself and slit his own throat and posted it to Instagram, showing the blood pouring from his neck.

Afterwards, he took a cellphone photo of himself lying across Devins’ dead body — which cops found under a green tarp near his SUV, police said. Clark was immediately taken to St. Elizabeth’s Hospital, where he underwent surgery, police said. He was then later charged with second-degree murder of Devins.

The two met on a dating site and were only together for two months before going to the concert. Police say the two got into an argument and drove back to Utica, where Clark allegedly went to a side street and murdered the teen. Devin’s social media followers contacted police around 7:20 a.m., and Clark’s Instagram was deactivated the next morning. The bio for Clark’s Instagram account read “10/06/1997 – 7/14/19. Just know that I feel no pain now,” according to the news site.

In a statement, Devins’ family mourned her death. “Bianca, age 17, was a talented artist, a loving sister, daughter, and cousin, and a wonderful young girl taken from us all too soon,” her family said in a statement. “Bianca’s smile brightened our lives. She will always be remembered as our Princess.”

The family also confirmed that Clark was a “family friend.” “It wasn’t just an ‘internet boyfriend’ this was a close family friend whom we’ve met and trusted so much. I do not want false information being spread around,” they wrote.
