Swae Lee of Rae Sremmurd Reveals What Really Went Down The Night The Groupie Exposed Him – blogged by MsJennyb

A few months ago, a groupie exposed Swae Lee, one half of the Rae Sremmurd duo, for allegedly smashing her. Apparently, Lee denied the accusations, but the pictures posted by the groupie sporting two shiners, suggested otherwise.

In a recent interview with 106 KMEL’s Shay Diddy, the sibling duo clarified the events leading up to the scandalous photo. According to the “No Type” rappers, the night began with the noticing of a fan who was flashing her goodies in the crowd. However, among all of the “fine” women in the audience, was one “ugly” girl, the two described, according to Hiphopdx.

The intentions of the duo were quite different from one another regarding the after show activities. While Lee had his eyes set on one particular fan, Slim Jxmmi had another idea, which unfortunately for him, didn’t quite work out.

“When we was leaving the show I said, I bet that girl will suck us up in the Uber on the way back, but then it didn’t work that way because she started talking,” Slim Jxmmi recalls. “So when we got back to the hotel, I just left her in the lobby because I went to my room and started playing PlayStation.”

Which left Swae Lee with several girls in his room.

“He left all the girls in my room and I just wanted one girl and then I had all these third wheels in the room with me,” Swae Lee stated. “I dozed off and then she took the picture then, it’s cool though, I ain’t tripping. I’m a savage anyway, so you know.”

Slim Jxmmi responded, suggesting for future reference to consider confiscating phones and purses the next time his brother decides to host a group of unknown women in his room.

In the interview, the rappers also addressed comments discrediting Swae Lee’s contribution to Beyoncé’s single, “Formation,” claiming to be unbothered.

“It’s like unreal because I’m just thinking it’s just another song I did,” Swae says of the Queen Bey’s hit single. “And then for like someone of that status to pick it up and want to record it, it’s just big man.”
