T.I. Agrees to Pay $100,000 in Settlement With Former Scales 925 Restaurant Employees

T.I. has settled with his former Scales 925 restaurant employees for about $75,000.  When the restaurant shut down in 2016, the employees lost their jobs and also complained about the way the restaurant was run.  ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

According to TMZ, Tip settled with 9 of 11 employees who came after him and each will receive $8,333.33 in unpaid money.  The rapper must also pay for $25,000 worth of attorney’s fees.

Added together, the ATL native has to fork over about $100,000 in total.  TMZ says that T.I. claimed he was never a bad restaurant owner, but the manager he hired wasn’t running the operation the way he should have.

The settlement comes just four months after it was reported that the 37-year-old rapper settled with a group of former Scales 925 employees who also alleged unpaid wages. In that suit, the rapper agreed to cough up $78,000 to the group of ex-employees, covering their legal fees, damages, as well as their unpaid wages, reports state.
