Tekashi69 Accused of Skipping Out on Howard Homecoming Concert To Perform In Jersey at Powerhouse

Tekashi69 may be living his best life after narrowly escaping jail time in his child sex case, but he just cost a group of college promoters over $300k for reneging on his promise to perform.

According to TMZ, the rainbow-haired rapper was scheduled to perform at Howard Homecoming on Sunday in D.C.  but instead skipped it to pull off a surprise performance at Powerhouse in New Jersey.

Sources say 6ix9ine canceled 35 minutes before the doors opened for the show, which forced organizers to turn away about 400 people and refund 3,000 more. Promoters say they paid $60k in advance for the show and he still bailed. To make matters worse, this was the second time he cancelled with the promoter.

So now, as a result, the promoter is threatening legal action against the rapper.
