Terrence J Allegedly Crashed $200,000 Car into a Parking Meter Before Fleeing the Scene

Tuesday morning, a car registered to Hollywood host Terrence J was totaled in a hit and run in Studio City, California. 

In the incident, according to TMZ, Terrence’s black McLaren smashed into a parking meter and slid into a tree after the driver, who witnesses believed to be Terrence’s girlfriend Jasmine Sanders, lost control of the car. 

However, hours after reports surfaced of the crash, a rep for Jasmine Sanders said, “On behalf of our client, Jasmine Sanders, we would like to clarify that Ms. Sanders was not in the vehicle at the time of [Tuesday] morning’s accident and was in no way involved.”=

The incident is under investigation. 

“The driver and passenger fled the scene after they crashed into a parking meter and a business,” Valley Traffic Division confirmed to PEOPLE of the incident. “There is no further information available at this time. 

The identity of the woman allegedly behind the wheel has not been revealed, PEOPLE reports. In the meantime, officials are looking for surveillance footage.
