The Baller Alert Show – Episode 80 Recap: Popeyes, LeBron James, Revolt Music Conference

The Baller Alert Show, featuring your lifestyle specialist Kenny Burns, with Ferrari Simmons and Su Solo, kicked off its 80th episode with a recap of the hottest topics and current events from the previous week.

In case you missed it, the hosts discussed Popeyes’ new BYOB (Bring Your Own Bun) offer in the wake of its chicken sandwich craze. As the host questioned the reasoning behind the promotion, they also revealed that their preferred chicken sandwich comes from Chick-Fil-A. The hosts also discussed LeBron James’ Taco Tuesday trademark, which was rejected, Terrence Howard’s decision to retire after ‘Empire,” and the laundry list of allegations against Antonio Brown, which came amid his back-and-forth with the Oakland Raiders.

As the segment continued, the three unpacked the viral conversation between T.I., Killer Mike, and Candace Owens at the Revolt Music Conference, and posed the question if ‘We as a people’ should have our own. But before the conversation ended, Burns discussed Kanye West’s Sunday Service, which recently touched down in Atlanta. Although Octavia was not here for West’s new manipulation, Burns believes the man is a genius, and even sympathized with West’s mental disorder.

In the next segment, Rari shared this week’s Baller Mail, which questioned whether a woman should get an abortion after finding out her baby daddy’s girlfriend is pregnant, as well. From there, Solo shared this week’s Comment Creepin, before the three revisited the conversation about the Revolt Music Conference.
