Imagine digging through a box of old VHS tapes and you stumble upon a sex tape of R. Kelly that you thought were sports highlights.
Gary Dennis, who claims to have no connection with R. Kelly, has found a new sex tape while going through his old VHS tapes. After coming across the tape, Dennis handed the tape over to his attorney, Gloria Allred, who has already turned the tape over to police.
Allred held a press conference in NYC where her new client, Dennis, came forward to explain how he found the tape and why he’s coming forward. He said he initially believed the tape was a “sports tape,” but that it also had R. Kelly’s name on it. He thought the R. Kelly portion of the tape would be footage of a concert, but as he continued to watch past the sports content, he discovered it was a sex tape. He says he doesn’t know how he ended up with the tape but says he watched it and saw R. Kelly engaging in sex acts with more than one underage black girl.
Dennis said the tape appeared to be filmed sometime in the 90’s and that the girls on camera were doing and saying things based on Kelly’s instructions. Dennis also said the girls looked underdeveloped and that the only man on tape (who he says resembles R. Kelly), seemed to be in charge of the camera.
Allred says the sex tape has been turned over to law enforcement officials from U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Eastern District of New York.
According to TMZ, this would be the third tape given to law enforcement in the last month. Attorney Michael Avenatti turned over the first two tapes to prosecutors in Chicago, one of which prompted the ten-count indictment against R. Kelly for aggravated sexual abuse.
