Tiffany Haddish Set To Star In New Comedy “Here Today,” Directed by Billy Crystal

Tiffany Haddish is gearing up to co-star in a new comedy feature, “Here Today” alongside Billy Crystal.

The movie is billed as a romantic comedy without the romance. Billy Crystal will star as a writer named Charlie Berns who loses his grip on reality and meets a talented street singer, played by Haddish.  The two form a touching and grounding friendship.

“I’m so grateful to get the chance to bring this charming and beautiful story to life,” Crystal said of the film in a press statement. “To have Tiffany as my costar is fantastic. The generational differences in our comedy will be great to play with. She’s explosively funny and genuinely human at the same time. [I’m] excited to explore all our possibilities together.”⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

Astute Films’ President Fred Bernstein is producing along with Crystal, Haddish and the script’s writer, Alan Zweibel. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

The movie is slated to begin production this October in New York City.
