Tiffany Haddish Will Become First Black Female Comedian To Host ‘Saturday Night Live’

Tiffany Haddish is having the year of a lifetime, from her comedy special on ShowTime to her critically acclaimed performance on “Girls Trip,” the comedian is already etching her name in the Hollywood record books. As Haddish’s run continues, the comedian will become the first black female comedian to host on “Saturday Night Live.”

Haddish took to Instagram to announce the historical feat, writing “This Saturday, 11/11 on #SNL!! Can you believe I will be the very #first black female comedian host?!? #SheReady.”

As Haddish hosts the sketch comedy show, Taylor Swift has been scheduled to perform that night as well.
