Tupac Movie Release Delayed Due To “Ambitionz” Rights

Everyone is awaiting the highly anticipated Benny Boom directed “All Eyez On Me” Tupac biopic, but the release has been pushed back a bit due to music problems.

According to the Dogg Pound’s Daz Dillinger, he owns the rights to the infamous track, “Ambitionz Az A Ridah.” However, according to BMG Publishing, the rights to the song belong to them and they’re the only ones who can okay the track for use in the film.

While Daz and BMG sort out the legalities, the release of “All Eyez On Me” has been pushed from September to November 11. Keep in mind, Daz sued BMG back in April for $75k in unpaid royalties, therefore they aren’t the best of friends.

Hopefully this doesn’t hold the movie up any further. I’m anxious to see how it turned out.
