Baller Alert Entertainment & Lifestyle Tyga has reportedly landed himself in a sticky legal situation that could land him in jail.
The former YMCMB rapper was scheduled to appear in court on Tuesday for a hearing regarding an ongoing eviction case. According to reports, Tyga did not show up to the hearing, leading the presiding judge to issue a $10,000 bench warrant.
Tuesday’s hearing was reportedly scheduled to asses the rapper’s assets and financial dealings in response to Tyga’s alleged non-payment of a $480,000 settling to his former landlord. The landlord won the near $500,000 judgement after Tyga reportedly failed to pay a $16,000 monthly payment on his Malibu home before ultimately breaking the lease all together.
Tyga recently purchased his girlfriend, #KylieJenner, an approximately $200,000 Mercedes-Maybach as an early gift for her 19th birthday. A move that I’m sure doesn’t reflect well for the 26-year-old while he currently owes hundreds of thousands of dollars.
No statement has been issued on behalf of arts at this time.
