Vince Carter Agrees To One-Year Deal With Atlanta Hawks, Ties For Most Seasons In NBA

“When Vince Carter came and stuck his arm in the rim, everybody went crazy in the whole damn gym” – Atlanta Hawk fans, circa 2019….probably.

Yes, #VinceCarter is still in the league. In fact, the free agent has landed a one-year deal with the Atlanta Hawks, which subsequently secured his position in NBA History.

Carter’s forthcoming season, which will earn him $2.4 million under the veteran’s minimum contract, will be his 21st season, joining Dallas Mavericks legend, Dirk Nowitzki, as the only member of the 1998 draft class to still be in the league.

Carter is also the oldest player in the league, as he will turn 42 in January. But, what’s most impressive is that Carter is still dunking 21 years in.
