The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air is bringing his royalty to National Geographic in a new event series.

Actor Will Smith is set to be the host of the new Nat Geo event series titled “One Strange Rock.” The show will be executive produced by Darren Aronofsky.

⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Smith announced the news on his Facebook page with a celebratory post that included a short snippet of the show. The program will educate viewers on what makes planet Earth unique amongst others in the solar system, as well as highlighting Earth’s ability to host living beings.

“I am thrilled to have Will Smith on board to guide our series,” Aronofsky said. “His charisma, intelligence and humanity will add greatly to the project, helping welcome viewers into this unique narrative about the mind-blowing wonders that make life on Earth possible.”

The 10-part series will debut globally on National Geographic in March 2018, and will be featured in 173 countries and in 43 languages.
