Why Work Hard To Get With Someone To Only Neglect Them Later?

You’ve spotted this special person across the room and you know that this is the person you want to pursue. You do everything to get their attention and once you do, you decide to take the next step. Welcome to the first date!

After dating for a while, you’ve done everything to keep a smile on their face from the spontaneous dates, giving flowers just because it’s Wednesday, and special text messages throughout the day just to let them know you’re thinking about them.

Now, you’re in deep into this relationship and everything begins to change. The text messages slow down, the dates are not as often as you like them to be, and flowers are just given on Valentine’s Day. Everything that caught your attention at the beginning of the relationship starts to slow up, which will eventually began to raise eyebrows.

Often times we get so caught up with thinking that once we have someone, they’re there forever. That mentality has to go away or you will find yourself alone. You don’t have to do everything you did at the beginning of the relationship but if you want to keep the relationship fresh, you have to put forth the effort. Show them know that you are still interested in them.

It’s one thing to tell your significant other how you feel about them, but your actions says more than you imagined. Continue to date and shower each other with affections. Remember, what you don’t do, they will eventually find someone who will.
