50 Cent Opens Up About Tekashi69’s RICO Case: “I Feel Like He’s Gonna Tell On Everything”

Just days after news surfaced about Tekashi 69’s decision to turn on the members of the Nine Trey Blood Gang – and implicate one of his associates as the triggerman in the Chief Keef shooting, 50 Cent, who offered early support to the rainbow-haired rapper, is speaking out about the rapper’s uncanny moves. 

In a recent interview with DJ Drama, 50 discussed the rapper’s case and opened up about whether or not he believed 6ix9ine could come out and continue his rap career. 

“I think [after he comes home from jail] that he can make music and people can hear it,” 50 said, “but the original core and base that he tapped into won’t rock.”

“[RICO] laws were designed for you not to escape them,” the rapper continued of the federal law that allows extended penalties for crimes performed as part of a criminal organization. “When I saw what I saw in that paper, I feel like he’s gonna tell on everything. That was the part that wasn’t even in the indictment – the stuff that they’re saying that he’s talking about are not in the indictment, so he’s offering that along with everything else, and then they added those new people in the indictment.” 

“When I get on the record with them, I’ll go, ‘I am not gang gang. I do not gang bang.’ Immediately, ‘cause I don’t like RICO,’ he added, referencing his lyrics to his “Get The Strap” song with Tekashi, Uncle Murda and Casanova. “I don’t like conspiracy. Give me a homicide right now – I’ll take a homicide right now before you give me that.”

“6ix9ine is not from the street,” rapper-turned-actor and multi-million dollar businessman said. “I liked him, like I like Soulja Boy. He was 16-years-old, he produced a record, he made the dance, got his homeboy and shot it. I want to see him have a hit, that guy that does it. I couldn’t do it at 16. I was like yo, he’s special. With 6ix9ine, his image was stronger than music. Middle America, the people actually purchasing music, they can dye their hair blonde and dye their hair those colors. Hip-Hop allows you to get close to the animals and go on a safari without being in danger.”
