Grammy-nominated singer-songwriter Camila Cabello will be making her feature-film acting debut for a new, modern version of the classic fairy tale ‘Cinderella.’
The idea for the new spin on ‘Cinderella’ came from “Carpool Karaoke” host, James Corden, who is also producing the film that’s described as a “modern reimagining of the traditional story of the orphaned girl with an evil stepmother, with musical bits mixed throughout.”
According to Variety, the movie is being fast-tracked by Sony. Kay Cannon (“Blockers”) will be directing, and Leo Pearlman will be assisting Corden in producing efforts. No information on exact release dates just yet.
