Rock band Coldplay has announced an intimate concert in support of jail reform.
Set to take place on Martin Luther King Jr. Day (Jan. 20), the group announced the event on their Instagram and revealed that all proceeds from the event will be donated to the Reform LA Jails initiative.
“Just announced! The band will play an intimate show at the Hollywood Palladium on Monday, January 20, in support of @reformlajails,” the group wrote.⠀
The event won’t just consist of Coldplay, as Compton artist Boogie and upcoming artist Bobby Gonz will also be in attendance.
In addition, a slew of Different social justice activists are set to speak during the event, as well.
“The guest speakers will be @osopepatrisse, founder of Reform LA Jails and co-founder of Black Lives Matter Global Network, and actress @americaferrera, co-founder of Harness, which activates artists and activists to advance social justice,” the group announced.
According to Billboard, fans of the band can attempt to get tickets through Ticketmaster’s Verified Fan program through Wednesday night. Those that are selected can move along in the ticket-buying process and will be able to purchase their tickets for the event Friday afternoon, at 1:00 p.m. ET.
