NBA Hall of Famer and basketball royalty Michael Jordan plans to donate all funds received from his 10-part ESPN documentary, The Last Dance, to charity.

According to Forbes, the proceeds from the documentary are estimated to reach at least 3 to 4-million dollars. Sports fans worldwide were highly anticipating the documentary when ESPN first announced it in May of 2018.

The Last Dance was scheduled to air in June, however, with the COVID-19 pandemic stopping all live sporting events, ESPN decided to move the date up.

Two of the ten episodes, aired Sunday night, with 6.1 million viewers tuning in. While Jordan, 57, won’t benefit financially from the documentary, he’s likely to garner some new fans.

If you’re one of the many who watched the legendary Chicago Bulls superstar play in the 90s, the documentary will remind you just how God-like Jordan was on the court.

The younger generations who are more familiar with the late great Kobe Bryant, and LeBron James will get a detailed look at Jordan’s entire career.
