On Wednesday, Donald Trump said that he is in full support of a second round of stimulus checks during a sit down with FOX Business on Wednesday.

“I support actually larger numbers than the Democrats, but it’s got to be done properly,” Trump said to FOX Business’ Blake Burman. “I want the money getting to people to be larger so they can spend it. I want the money to get there quickly and in a non-complicated fashion.”

He also said that he would like the next round of stimulus checks to create a “great incentive to work,” referring to the $600 bump in unemployment benefits, which was implemented as part of the CARES Act. Republicans have criticized this measure, saying that it will deter unemployed citizens to seek out new employment. Democrats, on the other hand, are looking to extend the additional unemployment measures beyond its scheduled expiration in July.

On Tuesday, Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell, R-Ky., also revealed that a potential phase four-bill will be approved this month before Congress breaks for recess in August. That same day, lawmakers in the Senate approved a bill to extend the application time that business owners have to apply for a loan under the Paycheck Protection Program. The legislation is still awaiting approval from the House.
