There are some athletes who learn from their criminal wrongdoings once they’re publicly broadcasted, but there are others, despite the scrutiny and humiliation, who continue to repeat the same mistakes. Ex-NFL player, Darren Sharper, is a prime example. Rape charges have been filed against him in Las Vegas. Sharper, who played as a defensive safety with the Packers, Vikings, and Saints, is also facing sexual assault charges in New Orleans, Phoenix, and Los Angeles. One source has documented that “Sharper’s Las Vegas attorney, David Chesnoff, appeared Friday before a Las Vegas judge on two sexual assault charges involving two women in January 2014.”
Sharper is currently jailed in LA after pleading not guilty to drugging and raping two women in 2013. It’s not looking too good for Mr. Sharper. I’m sure we’ll be hearing more about both incidents very soon.
