Victoria's Secret

Victoria’s Secret released a statement on the now-viral video of a “Karen” having a bizarre meltdown in one of their stores in a New Jersey mall.

In the statement released on Twitter, the company acknowledged the incident, saying safety is its “top priority” and confirmed that they are conducting a “full investigation.”

“We are dedicated to continuing this critical conversation and demonstrating our commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion through our actions and our words,” the statement said.

The video was recorded by Ijeoma Ukenta (a black woman) and shows a white woman, identified as Abigail Elphick, swinging at the camera, chasing Ukenta through the store, and falling out crying.

In another portion of the video, Elphick can be seen violently shaking her legs while screaming hysterically about being recorded by Ukenta.

“I was assaulted and harassed by a white woman and nothing was done by security nor the police,” Ukenta said. “I’m looking to hire me an excellent attorney who can help me bring light to this wrong.”

Ukenta launched a Gofundme, which has already raised close to $80,000 to assist her with legal fees.
