A Florida woman and a Gwinnett County man are under arrest in connection to a child sexual exploitation investigation that began in September.
Police say Adrienne Klein,43, of Gulf Breeze, Florida helped her 12-year-old daughter get from Texas to Gwinnett County, Georgia for a sexual encounter with the 20-year-old man, Gesart Hoxha.
Klein and Hoxha arraigned for the 12-year-old girl to fly from Texas to the Atlanta area and paid for a hotel for the girl to stay in and have sex with Hoxha, according to Gwinnett County police.
A Gwinnett County police detective said he found an explicit image of the victim and “a lot of money” while searching Hoxha’s house in Buford, Georgia. Police also accused Hoxha of exchanging sexually explicit messages with the victim before she arrived in Georgia.
Klein was arrested on December 13, after a month-long investigation by Gwinnett County Police Department in Georgia and the Arlington Police Department in Texas.
She has been charged with second-degree enticing a child for indecent purposes and child cruelty.
Hoxha faces child sex abuse charges, statutory rape, seducing children for obscene purposes, hiring/using minors, and engaging in or supporting sexually explicit acts of visual media.
He has also been charged with obscenity with a child due to sexual contact by Arlington police in Texas.
According to FOX 5, Gwinnett County Police said, “Arlington, Texas police have contacted our agency regarding an investigation that began in Texas, including an incident in Gwinnett.”
