Actress and host of TV One series “Life Therapy” AJ Johnson is very open about her diet, fitness journey, and more recently, her sex life.
Johnson recently went viral on social media after revealing that she had a threesome with two men for her 50th birthday during an episode of Angela Yee’s Lip Service. In an exclusive interview with Baller Alert, the life coach and actress responds to criticism she received from the viral clip, saying, “everyone needs to stop being so judgemental.”
Many Twitter users claim Johnson’s threesome with two men sounded more like a train, but the “Baby Boy” actress disagrees. “It wasn’t even sexual. We were all friends… and the comfort of the friendship turned intimate and sensual,” she said.
Johnson explained she did not say any penetration happened between her and the two men. “What I did say in the interview is that ‘It was sensual. It was intimate. I felt very safe.’ That doesn’t sound like a train to me.”
Although some comments could’ve been insulting to the actress, Johnson said she’s comfortable and confident enough in who she is and does not let the judgment affect her. “I’m not offended by the judgment. I just think it’s sad that people are so judgemental,” Johnson said.
“Call it what you want. All I know is that it was the best sexual relationship I have ever had,” she said. “And if you want to call it a train, then choo choo.”
The lifestyle coach described herself as polyamorous. “People say they’re monogamous, and then they cheat,” said Johnson. “Instead, I’m telling guys there’s another man, and I’m bringing him around so you can see how I am with him.”
She continued, “I found two guys who loved how I was, and it eventually turned into more than just a friendship.”
The House Party actress says many women want a threesome with two men but are afraid to have the conversation. “Remember, I counsel a lot of women, and a lot of them want to have a threesome with two men but are scared to ask for it. Even married women,” she said.
Johnson feels like a part of her “divine assignment” is to make us more comfortable talking about certain things as a culture. “I’m so genuinely happy that the conversation even started,” she said. “If my lifestyle broke the internet with the conversation, then good. Use me as an example.”
The two guys were friends. They were Black men from France who only spoke French during the encounter, which Johnson speaks fluently. That added to the romantic, sensual experience — and the cafe Patrón they were drinking didn’t hurt. The 58-year-old explained that in that “particular culture,” the men were very “expressive” and affectionate, which American men lack. “Most American men express very little PDA, and they’re trying to run away from their girl. That’s not happening here.”
“Look… I just wanted to share with women that if you feel like your life is missing something, just try it. You only get one life,” she said.
Johnson explained that she strayed away from societal norms as she matured because she was no longer afraid of judgment. “I just feel like we all need to live a free life and stop judging others. Just live your life.”
