Anne Heche’s son is filing to be the sole owner of his late mother’s estate with his brother after the actress died without a written will.
Homer Laffoon filed a petition to the Los Angeles Superior Court to gain control of the estate along with his brother, Atlas Tupper, who is Heche’s other son. The value of the estate is still unknown.
On Aug. 5, Heche’s car jumped a curb, crashing into a Los Angeles home, instantly bursting into flames. New reports show that the actress was trapped in her car for 45 minutes before being rescued by firefighters.
Heche, 53, was pronounced brain dead a week later on Aug. 11 and only kept on life support to donate her organs as that is what she wanted if a tragedy occurred.
Heche married Coleman Laffoon from 2001 to 2009 and had a son with him, 20. She then married James Tupper from 2007 to 2018, during which she had Atlas Tupper, 13.
Homer Laffoon has filed a petition requestion someone is a representative for his underage brother, Tupper.
A representative has yet to comment on the filing.
