QB Tom Brady is making it clear that he does not regret un-retiring from the NFL.

On Friday, the seven-time Super Bowl champ told reporters that he has “zero” regrets about rejoining the NFL.

Back in February, Brady announced that he was retiring from the sport. However, just 40 days later, he had a change of heart and rejoined the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Fast forward to October, Brady and her supermodel wife, Gisele Bundchen, announced they had finalized their divorce.

Many speculated that Brady’s decision led Bundchen to dissolve her marriage. Nevertheless, Brady says he does not have any regrets about getting back on the field.

“I returned because I felt like I wanted to compete,” Brady says. “And I spoke to the team about it, and they were excited to have me back. I don’t really regret those types of things. I think when I commit to it, I mean it, and I do my best and try to give everything I can to this particular opportunity.”

Brady previously shared how his relationship issues had an effect on his career.

“I think there’s a lot of professionals in life that go through things that they deal with at work and they deal with at home,” he says on an episode of the Let’s Go! podcast.

He continued, “So, that’s what professionals do. You focus at work when it’s time to work, and then when you come home, you focus on the priorities that are at home. All you can do is the best you could do. That’s what I’ll just continue to do as long as I’m working and as long as I’m being a dad.”
