The barber who impersonated an officer to see Megan Thee Stallion at the Final Four Fan Fest Concert in Houston has been released on a $20,000 bond.
Over the weekend, 28-year-old Trayvone Lil Darus Stevenson was arrested and detained at Harrison County Jail.
According to court documents, Stevenson wore a “Police K-9” vest and claimed to be security for Megan’s sold-out show.
Stevenson’s lawyers say that he was, in fact, a barber, but he was not qualified to be an official of any kind.
According to his lawyer, he reportedly did not have a dog with him, although he was wearing a “Police K-9” vest.
Prosecutor Mathew Jackson said Monday that “Megan Thee Stallion is a fantastic draw, a big draw, especially here in Houston, but this is still a felony case. You cannot go and impersonate an officer to get into a concert venue.”
