Two of a Georgia mother‘s four kids were present for her murder, according to a judge.
On Wednesday, Judge Phinia Aten revealed that Donnell Anderson’s arrest warrant stated a 3-year-old and 1-month-old were present while Imani Roberson was killed.
“The 3-year-old audibly heard the incident and that they were also in the vehicle when their mother was being transported out of the county,” Aten said.
Anderson, the children’s father, faces several charges concerning Roberson’s murder. He was charged with felony murder, malice murder, aggravated assault, and possession of a firearm.
He is now facing an additional charge of cruelty to children, according to WSBTV.
In addition, Anderson’s brother, Cedarius Glaze has also been arrested. He is facing charges related to the disposal of Roberson’s body. He was charged with tampering with evidence, concealment of a dead body, and arson.
Roberson was last seen on July 16 in Conyers after leaving her mother’s house in Atlanta. Two of the other children decided to spend the night with their grandmother. Her mother, Clarine Andujar-White, went to the house the following day after she had yet to hear from Roberson. After being unable to locate her daughter, she filed a missing persons report.
Roberson’s car was found burned up in a wooded area on July 27, and her body was discovered on August 4.
Anderson was arrested for the murder at an Atlanta apartment earlier this month.
It’s unclear at this time whether Anderson or Glaze have entered pleas. Anderson is scheduled to appear in court on the 16.
Police have not named a possible motive for the murder.
