Former WR and 3-time Pro Bowler DeSean Jackson is officially hanging up his cleats after a remarkable 15-year career.
Throughout his time in the NFL, Jackson played with two of the best dual-threat Quarterbacks this game has seen. Starting his career in 2008, Jackson played alongside Michael Vick, accumulating 912 yards and two TDs as a rookie. In 2021, Jackson signed with the Las Vegas Raiders before ending his career in Baltimore, receiving passes from Lamar Jackson.
Hailed as one of the most electrifying players of his era, Jackson finishes his career 75th in catches and 38th in receiving yards. The baller tallied 641 catches for 11,263 yards and 58 touchdowns in 183 career games.
Jackson also ends his career with four punt returns for touchdowns. Most notably, in 2010, he sent the New York Giants home with a game-winning punt return for a touchdown, still considered one of the biggest plays in the Philly, New York rivalry.
The Los Angeles native is third in catches and sixth in receiving yards in Philadelphia Eagles history. A storied career that could one day see Jackson in the Hall Of Fame. Far fetched, but you never know; when you have speed and can electrify a crowd, it is hard to forget about you.
