Monét clinched the Best R&B Album award for Jaguar II, triumphing over albums by Babyface (Girls Night Out), Summer Walker (Clear 2: Soft Life EP), Emily King (Special Occasion), and Coco Jones (What I Didn’t Tell You (Deluxe)). This marks Monét’s second victory of the day, having earlier secured Best Engineered Album, Non-Classical for Jaguar II.
Monét made an impressive mark at tonight’s Grammys with seven nominations, securing the second-highest number after SZA. Among her nods is a coveted spot in the Best New Artist category. The track “On My Mama” is a double contender for Record of the Year and Best R&B Song, while her album Jaguar II earned a nomination for Best R&B Album. Monét’s vocal prowess also earned recognition with nominations for Best R&B Performance (“How Does It Make You Feel”) and Best Traditional R&B Performance (“Hollywood”).

Tyla has etched her name in the history books, not only for her international breakout hit “Water” but also for a surprise win at the Recording Academy. Following the first GRAMMY nomination of her career for the chart-topping “Water,” Tyla left viewers in awe at the 2024 ceremony by clinching the inaugural award for Best African Music. In a remarkable triumph, she surpassed notable names like ASAKE, Olamide, Burna Boy, Davido, and Ayra Starr to claim this prestigious honor.
Lil Durk
Lil Durk has notched a significant milestone in his rap journey, celebrating a remarkable victory at the Grammy Awards—an achievement nearly 15 years in the making. Coco Jones
Coco Jones has officially joined the ranks of GRAMMY winners, with her 2022 breakout hit ‘ICU’ securing the coveted award. In a stunning victory, it triumphed over strong contenders including Chris Brown, Robert Glasper, SZA, and Victoria Monet in the fiercely competitive Best R&B Performance category at the 2024 ceremony.
Jones made her mark on the mainstream scene in November 2022 with the release of her major-label debut EP, ‘What I Didn’t Tell You.’ The breakout single, ‘ICU,’ emerged as the rising diva’s breakthrough track when it entered the Hot 100 charts in March 2023, a significant milestone in her career. The song continued its ascent, reaching the top of R&B charts and securing Jones’ first-ever #1 hit.
Miley Cyrus
Miley Cyrus has clinched the coveted 2024 Grammy for Best Pop Solo Performance with her track “Flowers” from the 2023 album, Endless Summer Vacation. In a competitive category, Cyrus’s song emerged victorious over strong contenders such as Billie Eilish’s “What Was I Made For?,” Doja Cat’s “Paint the Town Red,” Olivia Rodrigo’s “Vampire,” and Taylor Swift’s “Anti-Hero.” This win is especially significant as it marks Cyrus’s first Grammy victory after accumulating eight nominations in total prior to tonight’s celebration.
