The tension between Chris Brown and Quavo continues to heat up.
After Chris Brown dropped his latest diss, “Weakest Link,” aimed at Quavo over the weekend, the Migos rapper didn’t waste any time responding with his own track.
Premiering on DJ Akademiks’ livestream this Monday, Quavo’s comeback, “Over Hoes & B*tches,” not only hits back hard but also pays homage to the late Takeoff by incorporating several of his bars.
In his latest diss, Quavo doesn’t shy away from addressing Brown’s abusive past and even some rumors of the singer allegedly getting into it with Teyana Taylor.
“Lil b*tch come dance battle with my drac / you been f*ck yo bag up when you punched Rih in the face / Talking about fashion week, you sparring who? Come punch me in the face,” Quavo raps in response to Chris’ bar about being upset about sitting next to the rapper during fashion week.
Quavo then references Chris Brown’s past confrontations, including a reported incident with Frank Ocean in 2013 and a home invasion in 2015 that involved Brown’s aunt.
“N***as ran in your house, tied up your aunt ’cause you ain’t pay/This bullet got your name/Don’t ever bring up Take, pussy,” he raps.
Quavo then brings up Karrueche Tran, Brown’s former girlfriend, marking a recurring theme in their exchanges. His lines, “Lil boy wanna die ’bout some coochie?/You still f****d up ’bout Karrueche?” highlight the personal nature of their feud. Quavo even alludes to another alleged incident involving Brown and singer Teyana Taylor, where Usher reportedly had to step in.
Further into th diss, Quavo also labels Brown as the “crackhead Michael Jackson.”
He raps, “Crackhead Michael Jackson, bitch, you better beat it, n***a/I’m still fucked up about Takeoff, I want who did it, n***a.”
This did not take long for Chris to take to Instagram to respond saying, “that shit is poooooooh.”
“Damn and I was excited .. that shit don’t even need a response. Takeoff rap better,” he continued.
This past Friday, Brown released a diss track, responding to Quavo’s earlier song “Tender,” which itself was a comeback to Brown’s “Freak.” The tit-for-tat exchange between the two artists shows no signs of slowing down.
