Nickelodeon’s iCarly Star Puts Andre Drummond On Blast After Relationship Ends

Before Iggy Azalea and Nick Young found love on Instagram, Andre Drummond made iCarly star Jennette McCurdy his “Woman Crush Wednesday”, and luckily it resulted to them beginning a relationship of their own. Well, that was short lived. She spilled the tea in a podcast about their date and how he just wasn’t right for her. 

Jennette says she agreed to go out with Drummond because he seemed like kind of a big deal. Red flag #1. She says she only heard of him after he repeatedly made her his “Woman Crush Wednesday.” Jennette says they had some early conversations that “gave [her] pause” but she decided to go out on some dates with him anyway. The two went on their first date where they played laser tag and shared their first kiss. She says, “It just didn’t go great … no sparks. The mouths … the shapes weren’t right.” Now, I hate to be THAT person but it sounds to me like she probably isn’t all that into black guys but only gave him the time of day because he’s a Baller. But check it, it gets worse. 

Even though the first date was a little awkward, they continued to hang out. Drummond was so smitten with Jennette that he eventually gifted her with a necklace. He then got down on one knee and proposed — that she be his girlfriend. Even though she wasn’t in to him, she said “Yes” anyway, only to break it off with him over the phone a few days later. 

The two apparently only made it to the 2 week mark and in the podcast Jennette basically spent the entire time laughing at him and pretty much calling him immature. I almost feel bad for Andre Drummond, he obviously really liked her.
