In a recent appearance on The Art of Dialogue, Gene Deal held nothing back as he called out Choke No Joke, the former Roc-A-Fella videographer, over his recent comments surrounding the murders of Tupac Shakur and The Notorious B.I.G. Choke No Joke had previously appeared on Piers Morgan Uncensored, where he made some bold claims about the alleged involvement of Sean “Diddy” Combs in Tupac’s death. Deal, who was a former bodyguard for Diddy, didn’t hold back as he addressed these rumors and set the record straight.
Gene started by confronting the accusation that Puffy allegedly paid Eric Von Zip a million dollars to orchestrate Tupac’s murder. “I never, ever said that,” Deal stated firmly, debunking the narrative that he had any part in spreading such a story. He emphasized that if there were any truth to these claims, concrete evidence would have surfaced by now. Deal criticized Choke No Joke for perpetuating what he described as “garbage” rumors, specifically pointing out that no credible sources or proof have backed up these allegations.
Deal went on to question Choke’s credibility, suggesting that he was speaking on matters he had no real knowledge of. “You weren’t around, nobody messes with you, and you definitely don’t have connections in New York City like that,” Deal said, implying that Choke No Joke is out of his depth. He also hinted that by spreading these claims, Choke was not only damaging reputations but also interfering with ongoing investigations tied to Tupac’s murder.
The conversation got even more intense when Gene Deal brought up Eric Von Zip, a name often associated with the conspiracy theories around Tupac’s death. According to Deal, Zip claimed he received a million dollars from Blackground Records, allegedly through Barry Hankerson and Jimmy Henchman. Deal was quick to clarify that while he had heard about this money, he never linked it directly to Diddy or Tupac’s murder. He suggested that Choke’s attempt to connect the dots was both reckless and misleading.
“Listen, you putting stuff out there that messes up real investigations. You know nothing about this,” Deal asserted, frustrated by what he perceived as Choke No Joke’s careless dissemination of information. He accused Choke of trying to blend different incidents, like the infamous Quad Studio shooting in New York and the events in Las Vegas, to create a sensationalized story that lacks any foundation in reality.
Gene Deal’s frustration extended to Piers Morgan Uncensored, where he questioned why Choke No Joke was even given a platform to speak on such serious allegations without any substantial evidence. “Piers, you gotta watch who you have on your program, bro. Right now, you looking real fugazi out here,” Deal warned, suggesting that airing these unverified claims damages the integrity of media platforms and perpetuates unnecessary drama.
As fans of hip-hop’s golden era continue to mourn the tragic losses of Tupac and Biggie, the resurfacing of these conspiracy theories stirs up old wounds.
For now, it seems Gene Deal is adamant about ensuring that if his name is mentioned in relation to these cases, it’s done with accuracy and respect. As for Choke No Joke, his comments have certainly sparked conversation, but whether they will hold up under scrutiny remains to be seen.
