The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star and trailblazing businesswoman Bozoma Saint John has shared a deeply personal moment in the wake of the devastating Los Angeles wildfires. Taking to Instagram, she posted a 20-photo carousel that chronicled her life in her dream home, followed by haunting images of its charred remains.
The series of photos began with joyous memories of Bozoma and her daughter, Lael, living in the house that she described as her sanctuary. However, the final slides revealed the devastating aftermath of the wildfires that destroyed the home she had worked tirelessly to build.

In her heartfelt caption, Saint John opened up about the profound meaning the house held for her.
“This is the house I wanted. The house I prayed for. The house I worked in blood, sweat and tears for,” she wrote. She detailed the efforts she made to create a space that was not just a home, but a haven for her loved ones, even going so far as to install a keyless front door so her family and friends could freely use the space.
Saint John shared how her journey to homeownership was far from easy, especially as a widowed Black woman. “This is the house where I found peace after battling with racist neighbors and a community that made me have to buy it in a trust within a trust so no one would know that a widowed, single Black woman with a teenager was buying on the exclusively-held beach,” she revealed.
The home was also a tribute to her sister, featuring a custom-built movie room where her sister could watch her films in comfort. For Bozoma, the home was a symbol of victory, a place where she could finally live life on her own terms.
But now, that dream has been reduced to ashes. “It is gone,” she wrote. “This is an unimaginable loss. I grieve with the rest of Los Angeles as it burns.”
Despite her grief, Saint John asked for prayers for herself and her daughter, concluding her post with a note of resilience: “God bless you.”
