The on-again, off-again divorce saga between Kim Zolciak and Kroy Biermann has taken yet another turn, as Kroy has filed another divorce petition—this time, due to Kim relocating to a different county in Georgia.
According to legal documents filed Thursday afternoon, Kroy had to refile because Kim’s move placed her outside the jurisdiction of his previous filing. While the new petition doesn’t differ significantly from the one he submitted in August 2023, it adds another legal hurdle to their already drawn-out split.
Kim and Kroy’s two-year-long battle to end their marriage has been filled with drama, from dueling divorce petitions to multiple police visits at their now-sold Georgia home—a property that nearly went into foreclosure.
Beyond their divorce, financial troubles have loomed over the estranged couple, with creditors calling in massive debts. Kroy has accused Kim of being a gambling addict, a claim she has vehemently denied. In response, Kim recently filed court documents requesting that Kroy undergo a psychological evaluation, citing concerns that he may have chronic traumatic encephalopathy (CTE) from his NFL career. Kroy previously made a similar request for Kim, arguing that her alleged gambling addiction raises concerns about her mental fitness.
