During his recent appearance on “The Breakfast Club,” Omarion made it clear that he doesn’t have a relationship with his former groupmates, J-Boog, Raz-B, and Fizz.
“I always will honor my group, my foundation, and where I come from,” he said. “As far as personally, we don’t have a relationship.”
He did, however, acknowledge that J-Boog showed up at one of his shows. “We chopped it up, so there will always be a type of love there,” he shared. “We grew up together, and we did something in all our lives that [no one else] did. So, I think there’s always an honor system there.”
Back in 2022, Omarion described his rocky dynamic with his groupmates, explaining that they were “put together to be brothers” but were unable to maintain that bond. “Everybody has a different version of that,” he said. “I don’t think in essence we were [brothers]. I think that there were a lot of people that made sure that we connected and then disconnected.”
Fizz reacted with memes, while Raz-B penned a lengthy letter criticizing Omarion: “Nobody’s told me thank you for feeding their families, nobody… why would you wanna kick your own brother off the tour?”
Their tensions had been brewing for months, with Omarion calling his former groupmates “backup dancers” during his 2022 Verzuz battle with Mario.
