On July 16, 1999, 19 years ago today, “The Wood” starring Omar Epps, Richard T. Jones and Taye Diggs was released.
The film served as a coming of age film, as three longtime friends reflect on the old days, from their first meeting to their wildest moments, growing up in Inglewood, California in the 1980s.
