13-Year-Old Girl Is Charged With Murder After Allegedly Shooting 35-Year-Old Man Multiple Times

A 13-year-old girl has been arrested and charged with the murder of a 35-year-old man who was shot to death on a New Jersey street two weeks ago.

According to the Daily Mail, the man, Niles Holmes, was found with multiple gunshot wounds to his chest on December 10th in Jersey City.

The publication states that a group of juveniles were reportedly spotted fleeing the scene after the shooting on foot. Shortly after the first shooting, another person was found with a small graze wound to his arm. The second victim was transported to the hospital with non life-threatening injuries.Ā 

Authorities have not released the name of the 13-year-old suspect who was arrested on Christmas Eve because she is being charged as a juvenile. She now faces charges of murder, aggravated assault, unlawful possession of a firearm, and other offenses.

Cops said the shooting was not gang-related but was the result of a dispute between various groups. Authorities did not reveal if there was any personal relationship between the victim and the suspect.
