When breakout Dallas artist 4Batz appeared on The Baller Alert Show with hosts BT and Ferrari Simmons, the topic of his supposed deal with Drake came to the forefront.

The clip began with BT asking: “I feel like it was miscommunication on who you were signed to, because they’re saying you signed to Drake, and then you wasn’t signed to Drake, and then you signed to… Who did you initially sign with?”
4Batz responded directly: “Actually, we were supposed to have, you know, a sit‑down where we was going to sign together. You know what I’m saying? That we was going to do the whole thing and this and this and this. And, you know, Drake’s still my boy. You know what I’m saying? I still love him. It just didn’t work out the way that it was supposed to.”
He went on: “And it ended up, we were supposed to do some s**t for an album, you know what I’m saying, we ended up not doing it, and for that whole s**t…I was independent the whole time.”
His explanation is clear: while there was indeed a plan to sit down and sign with Drake, that agreement never came to fruition. 4Batz emphasizes he did not sign under Drake’s umbrella but remained independent during the period of speculation.
