5 Celebs That Should Deactivate Their Social Media In 2022

This year has been full of celebrities showing their behinds on social media. From Boosie getting his Instagram account deleted every other week to Chrissy Teigen making cyberbullying tweets. The celebs have been keeping us entertained, but here are a few who should go ahead and leave their accounts in 2021.

1. Boosie

One of Boosie’s many talents is stirring up some mess, and he did just that this year. One of his biggest controversies involved Lil Nas X and his sexual preferences. Boosie has made it clear time and time again how he feels about the way Lil Nas X expresses his sexuality. Boosie wasn’t feeling Lil Nas promoting his album using a “pregnancy” marketing strategy. Lil Nas being the troll that he is, decided to antagonize Boosie with his sexuality. This promoted Boosie to call Lil Nas a slew of homophobic slurs and fans to call for Boosie’s cancellation.

2. Lil Duval

Lil Duval tends to say the most outlandish things at inappropriate times. He’s currently in the hot seat after making a tweet about Betty White’s death. The comedian joked about God showing Betty something bad about 2022 that made her “check out.” Lil Duval got immediate backlash for the tone-deaf statement. Fans are already calling for his cancellation papers. Let’s see if the comedian will post more sensitive statements in the new year.

3. 50 Cent

50 Cent is a genius when it comes to producing television series, but he is also a pain to some on social media. The king of petty does not have a filter and will troll anybody on social media. 50 Cent has taken jabs at plenty of celebrities on his Instagram in the past. For instance, 50 made fun of French Montana being hospitalized and tried to sell a t-shirt that resembles Rick Ross’ chest. 50 even disowned his son for 6ix9ine. In most recent news, 50 Cent took a few shots at Madonna making jokes about a photo she took. Hopefully, 50 will clean up his act in 2022.

4. Chrissy Teigen

Chrissy Teigen has been accused of cyberbullying folks on Twitter all year. One main situation that prompted Chrissy’s cancellation was her allegedly telling a 16-year-old to kill themself. Reality TV personality Courtney Stodden came out and said Chrissy used to publicly suggest that she should take “dirt naps.” Chrissy used to also dm Courtney to tell her to kill herself and how much she couldn’t wait for her to die. It seems like Chrissy is learning her lesson, but we suggest she take a year-long social media break.

5. Akbar V

Last but certainly not least, reality star/rapper Akbar V should probably take some time off of social media in 2022. The Atlanta rapper has gotten into a slew of public arguments this year. Now Akbar does not take disrespect lightly and does not mind sending a clapback or two. Earlier this year, Akbar exchanged words with Alexis Skyy and Lira Galore at a nightclub. The altercation carried over to social media and resulted in Akbar making fun of Alexis’s special needs daughter. The two recently shared a few words with each other again after Alexis claimed not to know her. This time, Akbar alleged that Alexis had herpes and did coke while she was pregnant. Akbar has been open about working on herself and changing for the better but slips up a lot. Nevertheless, Akbar should take some time off to work on her changes.

While these celebrities have been in the media all year for their controversial remarks, they’re not the only celebs who should take a social media break in 2022. Hopefully, we can expect nice remarks from these from everyone in the new year.
