50 Cent and La La Anthony Team Up for New Drama Series, “Intercepted”

“Power” stars 50 Cent and La La Anthony are joining forces for a brand new series at their home premium cable network, Starz. According to Deadline, the rapper-turned-actor and television producer will work behind the scenes, in collaboration with his G-Unit Films and Television and Anthony, on the new contemporary romance drama, “Intercepted.”

Based on Alexa Martin’s bestselling novel of the same name, which is also part of a three book series about her years as an NFL wife, “Intercepted” tells the story of Marlee Harper’s relationship woes. The series will follow Harper, played by Anthony, after she swears off dating athletes until she’s approached by the new star quarterback in town.

“Intercepted” is one of many, joining 50’s forthcoming projects and programs as part of his overall deal with Starz. In addition to “Intercepted,” which is currently in development, 50 is also working on series, “Black Mafia Family” and “Vanguard” for Starz.
